Main Competition

Champion Team - The country with the highest aggregate of the Stableford points, over 2 days. based on the bets scores of a fixed number of players, shall be declared the winner of the Challenge Trophy. The cut off fixed number determined by the AGC Committee.

Rules & Regulations

Scoring System

The team event is based on Stableford system. The Best Gross and Doubles event are based on stroke plays over two days.

Gimme

It is defined as within putter length minus grip length and add one stroke to the score. To speed up the play, "gimme" is allowed for Team event based on Stableford System, For player competing the Individual Best Gross and Doubles event, they must hole out no "gimme".

Countback Rules

Team event:
The lowest total handicap shall be declared winner.

The Courses

Saujana Golf & Country Club

Since its opening in 1986, Saujana Golf & Country Club (Saujana) has established itself as Malaysia's No. 1 golf club. Carved out of a former palm and rubber plantation and set among rolling hills and large tranquil lakes, Saujana has two internationally famous golf facilities - the Palm Course and the Bunga Raya Course - both designed by Ronald Fream.

Overview

This year the Regional AGC Golf Tournament will be held in Malaysia from 16 to 20 May 2009. This annual event is the annual highlight for all AGC Members representing their country from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore. This two-day event will be attended by over 150 executive golfers from the Air Cargo Industry throughout the Asia region.
